> History #199: Cell-o-pain
These are some pictures I took at the Eastern State Penitentiary, a massive abandoned prison in Philladelphia, now one of the creepiest tourist attractions you can find. It DEFINITELY had vibes of the past still haunting the emptiness. I could easily spend two weeks just taking pictures throughout the prison and surrounding areas.
Al Capone's cell was part of the tour as well. Fascinating stuff. The pictures above consist mainly of the decaying cells, each on in a different state of decomposing. There is NOTHING in the cell except for the one solitary light source coming from above called "God's Eye". Creepy indeed. I couldn't imagine what it would be like living YEARS in those cells with noone to talk to. Enough to drive one into... SPACE MADNESS!!!
